nothing and nothing...
Man, what a beginning to the Christmas holidays that seem like they're almost over! On monday my mom, Kristyn and I left to go boxing day shopping and head on to Georgetown to my cousins house. Shopping was great! There was a lot of good sales, not to mention line ups! lol. It took forever to get there though! The 401 was jammed, and for like an hour our average speed was like 40 km! :P it sucked, and it was raining. I was greatful for my mp3! On Tuesday we headed out at like 10 to go to Micheals and my dad had to go to Home Depot and then we went to the Mandarin! We met all of my extended family from my mom's side there and ate together for like 2 hours! It was amazing! I love buffets, and they have SUCH good food! I tried this soup that looked like it had shrimp in it or something gross (my opa said it was good...) but it was like this chicken stuff! They had like black forest cake, waffles with berry toppings and whipped cream and I could go on! lol. The waiter was so funny...he set down the water pitcher to clean something up and my cousin asked me to pass it to him, so I did. Then the guy was like "no, me pour it" and grabbed it from him! It was hilarious! We just all burst out laughing! They were forever standing behind us waiting to grab our plates or fill our water glasses! It was pretty amusing! Then for the last half hour we were REALLY bored, so my cousin Joel and I decided to make this gross drink that consisted of: water, Soya sauce, salt, pepper, um...Joel’s fortune cookie (crunched up) and I think that was it. It was pretty disgusting, and I'm sure the waiters loved us for doing it! teehee...oh well, it's their job, right? lol. Then we spent the day at my Aunty Ellen’s and Uncle Paul’s house for our Nagtegaal get together. it was pretty fun, especially playing hockey, except I killed my shoulder :P and had to wear my brothers skates cuz I couldn't find mine...and they were like way too big!
On Wednesday my little cousins Hannah, Eric and Sarah wanted me to take them on the sled, with Pongo pulling them. So we hooked up their toboggan to Pongo's leash and he pulled them! It was so much fun, and they LOVED IT! Later that day I took them skating on the pond by their house and because it had rained, there were puddles all over the rink, and of course, the kids had to fall right in the puddles...:P by the time we were done, they were all soaked to the bone! But they loved it, and said the wet mittens/snow pants kept them warm! Whatev...
Anyways, I'm talking way too much, again, but that was the official beginning to Christmas holidays! Now, just have to wait till Monday when we head out for BLUE MOUNTAIN! I hope it gets A LOT colder before then though, because this weather is really crappy for boarding right now! Oh well, what can you do, other than hope for the best?!
